Who’s Who


Mick and Allison Rynne:

Mick is one of the leaders at Grace Community Church and has responsibility for the vision and preaching of the church. He loves community life in the kingdom, a favourite bible verse is Romans 14:17, defining life as goodness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. He is passionate to share this life with everyone. Mick is married to Allison, who heads up the Youth ministry from ages 11 to 19 years. She is very passionate to see young people develop a strong and healthy relationship with God and grow into their full potential. They have two teenage children. Peter who is at 6th form college and leads worship, and Sarah who is at Senior School and also plays in the worship band.


Ant and Emily Carter

Ant is one of the leaders at Grace Community Church and is also responsible for the worship and audio/visual teams. Emily, who is a qualified primary school teacher with specialism in early-years development, heads-up the children’s work team (Shining Lights). Ant and Emily have 2 young children (Ted and Ben), live in Upminster and their desire is to see God impacting the lives of people in Upminster and the surrounding area. As a leader, a very motivational verse for Ant is 1 Tim 1:5 (ESV) “The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith”.


Rob and Angela Antoine

Rob and Angela have been married for over 30 years and have three sons. They are originally from South Africa, but decided to make their home in Upminster in 1996. Rob’s passion is evangelism and he has many years experience in street ministry. Angela enjoys working with children of all ages, from babies to teenagers and assists Emily in Shining Lights. Robert and Angela are Homechurch leaders and enjoy meeting with their Homechurch every week, sharing discussions and worship in a relaxed environment.


Terry and Julie Hall


Terry & Julie are Homechurch leaders.  They have 3 grown up sons and have recently become proud grandparents for the first time. Having met each other at a church nearly 30 years ago they married and have lived in Upminster ever since. They have led small groups for over 15 years and enjoy the opportunity these give to build caring one to one relationships.


Geoff and Pauline Horne


Geoff and Pauline are Homechurch leaders at Grace Community Church Upminster and take an active role in other duties within the church as well. They live in South Ockendon and have 4 grown up children and 6 grandchildren. They are both retired – Geoff was a carpenter and Pauline an MOT clerk. Since retiring, Geoff and Pauline enjoy time with the family and the business of everyday activities.



Andrea Izod and Lynda Markham

Andrea lives in Upminster, has been married to Rick for 20 years and has 2 teenage children.  She became a Christian 6 years ago and one of her favourite bible verses is Ephesians 2:4-5 (ESV) “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you have been saved”.                                           Lynda lives in Hornchurch and is married to Trevor.  They have 3 children and Lynda has been a Christian for nearly 7 years.  One thing that Lynda loves is the loving family we have within Grace Community Church.
